Ideas for an unforgettable children's birthday party
Watch the clouds with a blade of grass in your mouth, run through cornfields, splash vigorously through puddles, climb trees, and feel as free as a bird. These are nature experiences that have remained firmly etched in the minds and hearts of adults when they look back on their childhood spent with and in nature. We want to give your child and their guests a lovely memory like this at a children's birthday party in nature in Leipzig. Our birthday party ideas for children are tailored to their age and the season, with wonderful craft activities and nature games for children & young people. We have a selection of themes to serve as inspiration, featuring lots of exciting forest games.
Forest birthday parties for boys and girls
Whether you want to go on a treasure hunt, do crafts in a creative nature workshop, or play adventurous forest games—we have exciting birthday party ideas ready for boys and girls of various age groups. Celebrating a children's birthday party in the forest can have many advantages, because we can make use of the natural elements and the open space that nature offers for our special occasion.
Gnome Workshop
We can build a house for the dwarves out of clay, or make lovely little gnome houses in the forest from all sorts of things nature provides. Each child will make their own gnome house.
Flower Workshop
In the Flower Workshop, the possibilities are endless. We paint with flower petals, can make our own lanterns, or craft flower mandalas for the window.
Playing in the Forest – Simply Wild
Building dens, tracking footprints, climbing trees, and letting the children's spirits and free minds simply run wild. Forest games and lots of fun accompany us on this wild journey.
Wild Herb Workshop
In the herb workshop, you will learn about the wild herbs and medicinal plants in the area, according to the season. We can make wonderful things from the various plants, such as ointments and tinctures. A forest birthday party in the herb workshop takes us into the realm of plants. The birthday party offers a wide range of ideas, from making your own plant paper and medicinal oils to preparing wild herbs over a fire, and much more.
Night Hike
For older children (ages 8 and up), experiencing the forest in the dark is a completely different kind of adventure. We creep through the forest at night and listen to the sounds of tawny owls, deer, foxes, and more. Through games in the dark, we get to know the forest in a different way. It also takes a little courage.
Barefoot Trail
Together, we build a barefoot trail in the forest. Our feet are free to explore the forest. How do moss, stones, leaves, etc. feel under my feet? A birthday party with songs and lots of foot-feeling.
Forest Treasure Hunt
As we make our way to find the treasure with the help of the trees around us, we encounter challenges and games centered on the forest. At the end of our forest scavenger hunt, we will hopefully find the lost treasure.
Zero-Waste Birthday Party
A wonderful children's birthday party in the forest—all in the spirit of a healthy planet. Here, children can make their own bath bombs, hand soap, modeling soap, and much more. For older children, we can also make our own cosmetics in harmony with nature. There are many possibilities.
Tracking Workshop
We look for animal tracks, learn how to tell them apart, and follow them. We can cast animal tracks together in plaster (please note: in winter, casting tracks depends on the temperature). Each child can cast a track and take this keepsake home. There are many other ideas for activities in the Tracking Workshop.
Lighting a Fire
This forest birthday party is sure to heat things up. We explore the element of fire in all its power. Through songs and stories, you will become part of ancient fire wisdom. We want to introduce you to old traditions and techniques for making fire, which you can of course try out for yourselves. At the end, we will light a fire without matches or a lighter and cook over it or bake bread on sticks.

Reviews
WildNet.Earth Review Policy
Each rating result ranges from 1 to 10. The overall rating for a class is calculated by adding up all the ratings submitted and dividing them by the number of ratings. We use a weighted system: more recent ratings have a greater influence on the overall result.
Participants can also submit sub-ratings for important class areas – such as organizer communication, class management, content & learning progress, procedure & implementation, venue, catering, and accommodation. Sub-ratings and overall ratings are assigned independently of each other and are not necessarily directly related.
Participants can submit a review if they have taken part in a class via WildNet.Earth – even if they have not completed the class in full. In addition, participants can verify themselves and also write reviews even if they have not booked via WildNet.Earth. Changes to reviews that have already been submitted can only be made via WildNet customer service.
To prevent bias, WildNet.Earth uses processes that identify fake or unreliable reviews. Such content will be deleted and measures may be taken against those responsible. Suspicious posts can be reported to customer service by anyone at any time.
