About this Course
The Nature Praxis is a guided 12-week journey for adults aged 18–36 who want to reduce stress, strengthen self-awareness and build a regular relationship with nature. Weekly outdoor practices combine shared experiences in Siem Reap, individual practice in a safe local outdoor space and online reflection. The journey offers a supportive, trauma-sensitive process with clear boundaries, practical methods and a personal plan for continuing nature practice. It is designed for personal wellbeing and development, not as professional ecotherapy training.

Contents
Arrive & Notice
Begin by slowing down, orienting yourself and opening your senses. You set an intention and establish a personal Sitting Place. Practices include sensory walks, breathing and grounding, mindful movement, quiet observation and reflective journaling.
Relate & Understand
Explore body awareness, emotions, relationship with place and the Ecological Self. Drawing, journaling and landscape metaphors support reflection, while observing relationships in an ecosystem invites you to notice how living systems, weather, place and your own responses shape the experience.
Meet Edges & Adapt
Observe how you respond to uncertainty and manageable discomfort through the principle of Challenging by Choice. You are invited to work with your own limits, adapt your participation and develop practical ways of meeting changing conditions without pressure to perform.
Integrate & Continue
Recognise personal resources, belonging, gratitude and reciprocity. Simple actions of reciprocity connect reflection with everyday life and lead into a continuing nature-practice plan.
Weekly practice and shared reflection
Each week includes one structured outdoor practice of approximately 90–120 minutes. Four practices take place as shared experiences at a designated outdoor meeting point in Siem Reap, while eight are completed individually. An equivalent solo version is available for every shared practice. Four online Integration Circles create space to reflect after weeks 3, 6, 9 and 12, learn from one another and connect outdoor experiences with everyday life.
Learning themes
The journey brings together personal wellbeing and stress awareness, nature connection and the Ecological Self, mindfulness, experiential and reflective learning, resilience in uncertainty, connection with others and community, and sustainable personal habits. Nature is treated as an active partner rather than merely as scenery.
Structure
The program begins with a mandatory online onboarding covering the learning approach, personal boundaries, confidentiality and safe self-guided practice. The twelve-week journey then follows four phases: Arrive & Notice, Relate & Understand, Meet Edges & Adapt, and Integrate & Continue.
Participants complete one guided outdoor practice each week. Four practices are shared in Siem Reap and eight are completed individually, with a solo alternative available for each shared practice. Four online Integration Circles take place after weeks 3, 6, 9 and 12.
Prerequisites
The program is for adults aged 18–36. You may participate in shared activities in Siem Reap or complete the equivalent solo practices in a familiar, low-risk and accessible outdoor location.
Participation includes the mandatory online onboarding and a commitment to follow the safety guidance. Check weather and daylight, carry a phone for emergencies, inform someone when appropriate, and adapt or stop any practice whenever needed. The program may complement professional support, but it is not psychotherapy, medical treatment or crisis care.
Reviews
WildNet.Earth Review Policy
Each rating result ranges from 1 to 10. The overall rating for a course is calculated by adding up all the ratings submitted and dividing them by the number of ratings. We use a weighted system: more recent ratings have a greater influence on the overall result.
Participants can also submit sub-ratings for important course areas – such as organizer communication, course management, content & learning progress, procedure & implementation, venue, catering, and accommodation. Sub-ratings and overall ratings are assigned independently of each other and are not necessarily directly related.
Participants can submit a review if they have taken part in a course via WildNet.Earth – even if they have not completed the course in full. In addition, participants can verify themselves and also write reviews even if they have not booked via WildNet.Earth. Changes to reviews that have already been submitted can only be made via WildNet customer service.
To prevent bias, WildNet.Earth uses processes that identify fake or unreliable reviews. Such content will be deleted and measures may be taken against those responsible. Suspicious posts can be reported to customer service by anyone at any time.
We publish both positive and negative reviews, unless they contain or refer to:
- Politically sensitive content
- Advertising
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive data (e.g., phone numbers, email addresses)
- Insults, obscene language, sexualized content, hate speech, discrimination, threats, or violence
- Spam or obviously fake content
- Identity theft
- Any violation of our rating guidelines
Guidelines and standards for reviews
These guidelines ensure that reviews on WildNet.Earth remain relevant, fair, and respectful—without restricting freedom of expression.
Contributions should have a clear connection to the course or experience and help other participants make an informed decision. Personal attacks, religious or political statements, advertising, or support requests (to the organizer or WildNet.Earth) do not belong in reviews and will be removed.
Posts must be suitable for a global audience. Obscenities (even in creative writing) and content that contains hate, discrimination, violence, sexual depictions, or illegal activities are not permitted.
All content must be authentic, independent, and unbiased. Organizers and their partners may not create reviews on behalf of their participants or offer incentives for reviews. Attempts at manipulation (e.g., negative reviews against other organizers) will not be tolerated.
Personal data of third parties may not be published. Copyrights must be observed—published content, especially images, may only be used if the corresponding rights have been obtained.
The opinions expressed are solely those of participants and course providers. WildNet.Earth accepts no liability for reviews or responses. WildNet.Earth acts as a distributor, not as a publisher of content.
