About this Course

Weekend Reset in Nature is a small-group weekend for young adults in tertiary education or work who want to pause their daily routines and spend unhurried time in nature. Through guided experiences, personal reflection, meaningful conversations, rest, and time to simply be, you reconnect with yourself, others, and the natural world. The weekend combines grounding, nature immersion, shared camp activities, and quiet practices within an experiential rhythm of Experience → Reflection → Insight.

Contents

Arrival and grounding in nature

  • Travel from the Bangkok meeting point to Friends and Forest.

  • Check in, get to know the group, and create shared group agreements, including an invitation to disconnect from phones.

  • Take part in barefoot walking, grounding exercises, and group games in nature.

  • Enjoy lunch and rest before settling into your sleeping place.

Self-reflection and connection

  • Explore guided self-reflection through pair sharing and the My Tree activity.

  • Make space for a personal hobby you have missed.

  • Practise nature journaling by listening for birdsong and reflecting beside the pond.

  • Use group conversations, quiet time, and optional sharing to reconnect with yourself and others.

Deepening connection and carrying it forward

  • Take a barefoot walk with short reflective sharing.

  • Practise Sit Spot: quiet, eyes-closed presence with nature.

  • Continue with guided or free journaling in nature.

  • Write a letter to your future self to open one month later.

  • Find a natural object that represents what you want to carry forward.

  • Complete the weekend with a closing circle, personal takeaways, and one small commitment to continue.

Structure

This is a two-day, small-group weekend experience. The first day follows a rhythm of arrival, grounding, introductions, reflection, shared camp tasks, and an evening storytelling circle. The second day creates space for quiet personal practice, nature connection, journaling, integration, and a closing circle.

The experience follows the experiential approach of Experience → Reflection → Insight. Participants are invited to disconnect from phones, stay for the full journey, and leave by early afternoon on the second day.

Prerequisites

No prior outdoor experience is required. What matters most is a basic willingness to be in nature, take part at your own pace, and engage with reflection and shared activities.

Sharing personal stories is always an invitation, not an obligation. You remain responsible for your own limits and can participate through observation, journaling, check-ins, or practical contributions.

Packing List

Bring personal snacks, a reusable water bottle, individual toiletries, a towel, and your own personal bedding or sleeping bag. A basic sleeping mat is provided.

After booking, you receive a packing list tailored to the program and season, together with guidance on clothing systems, footwear, rain protection, essentials, and what to leave at home.

Board & Overnight

Shared accommodation is provided within the private plot, with or without tents. Indoor restrooms and running water are available.

Lunch is provided on both days, together with a group-cooking dinner. Sunday includes a self-made breakfast and a prepared lunch. Breakfast on the first day and personal snacks are not included.

Certificate
