Dirk Reber is a co-founder of the YEP Academy. He is an outstanding facilitator, coach & mentor with major qualifications in diverse outdoor settings. With his positive energy, optimism and scope of ambitions, he likes to see young people grow. He is fully convinced that empowerment requires nature as a learning field. As one of few, he is active in combining leadership, and outdoor and development cooperation.

Souheang Ly is a co-founder of the YEP Academy. Being an explorer, she has always been searching continuously for something that matches her vision, values, and passion. Combining educational and environmental fields is, for her, the best key to youth empowerment. Souheang is courageously, confidentially, and continuously committed to empowering young people.

Huy Ing Lay is an individual with great courage, calmness, perseverance, and introspection. It is within nature's embrace that she finds her truest sanctuary. A firm believer in the transformative power of the natural world, Huy Ing sees a deep synergy between nature connection and personal growth. Her passion lies at the intersection of psychology, mindfulness, personal growth, self-reflection, and forging a deeper bond with the natural world. At YEP-Academy, she facilitates participants on journeys of self-awareness, personal growth, and immersive nature.

Veasna joined YEP Academy for coordination and administration. She graduated from the National University of Management and Norton University. With over a decade of experience in administration, her journey has been driven by a passion for empowering individuals and fostering growth through innovative solutions and collaborative initiatives. When Veasna began working with YEP Academy, she felt an incredible shift in her perspective on life. YEP has inspired her to embrace a deeper connection with nature, moving away from the fast-paced modern lifestyle to find peace and happiness in the simplicity of living close to nature. Through her work with YEP, Veasna has witnessed the profound impact of helping youth connect with nature.

Annie Kukreja is deeply passionate about addressing the PM2.5 air pollution crisis in Thailand and is actively involved in developing projects to tackle this pressing issue. Additionally, she is committed to contributing to global efforts to mitigate the severity of climate change. With a focus on hands-on experience and a continuous pursuit of knowledge, Annie finds inspiration in sustainable development and conservation practices. Join Annie on her journey as she strives to make a meaningful difference in the realm of environmental stewardship and climate action.

Anu is an expert trekker and outdoor educator, for thrilling adventures across diverse terrains—from peaceful forest trails to challenging high-altitude mountain paths. With a deep passion for sustainable trekking and nature conservation, Anu ensures every journey is not just an adventure but a meaningful learning experience. Specializing in youth development, leadership training, and team building, Anu designs treks that foster resilience, confidence, and essential life skills. She believes in "Step into the wild, push your boundaries, and discover your true potential".

Dominik is an outdoor guide and facilitator with experience in diverse landscapes, from the boreal forests of Europe to the humid jungles of South East Asia. Growing up in rural Germany, he discovered early in life that nature is not only the best teacher, but also where he can anchor his mind and soul. His driving passion is to create chances for others to experience this serenity for themselves. Through his calm and caring attitude, he hopes to enable participants to feel comfortable and safe in nature. Now he is working on bringing unique YEP empowerment and learning opportunities to young adults in Vietnam.

Facilitator
an independent and adventurous facilitator who supports youth empowerment through direct outdoor experiences and ecological reflection. As a rock climber and biodiversity enthusiast, she integrates her passion for nature into her teaching, encouraging others to consider their role within the wider ecosystem. Her approach is deeply rooted in sustainability, as she actively promotes minimalism, conscious consumerism, and low-impact living.

Khaisinh Mounh
Facilitator
is the Co-founder of WeFarm. He is very passionate about travel, innovation, entrepreneurship, social work, and helping others grow. He also finds peace in nature and enjoys the outdoors through various activities such as hiking and camping. At YEP Academy, Khaisinh facilitates an outdoor program called "Backpack your life".He lives by the philosophy that "The fewer objects you have in your life, the closer you will be to reaching the top of freedom".

Socheata Chun is a passionate outdoor educator and advocate for sustainable living, with a strong background in global citizen education. A graduate of the YEP Academy Training of Trainer program, she focuses on bridging the gap between global issues and community-led solutions.

Ranny Rith
Facilitator
Ranny is an active listener, outgoing, and enthusiastic. Women empowerment has always been her go-to scheme; she believes creating safe space in outdoor settings contributes to self-confidence and self-awareness and consequently promotes a positive mindset and compassion toward community and the environment. She looks forward to seeing the readiness for the next adventure as well as hope for transformative growth. To her, being with nature is an experiential learning; the journey itself brings people together.

Sowiceah Saing
Facilitator
Sowiceah Saing: is a former National Park Ranger and member of the Wildlife Rapid Rescue Team who has transitioned from frontline enforcement to environmental education. He leverages his extensive "boots-on-the-ground" experience to inspire a new generation of conservationists.
