About this Course
Es ist ein großartiges Gefühl etwas mit den Händen zu schaffen. Noch besser, wenn man alles dazu in der Natur findet; also nichts weiter braucht, als die entsprechenden Fertigkeiten … und Zeit. Und reichlich Zeit, um diese Fertigkeiten zu erlernen und auszuprobieren möchte ich euch anbieten im Kurs “Naturhandwerk”. In vier Modulen behandeln wir, über das Jahr verteilt, unterschiedliche Themen, Techniken und Werkstoffe mit denen die Menschen seit vielen Jahren notwendige und praktische Dinge hergestellt haben.
Die Hände als Botschafter
Naturhandwerk bietet einem jedoch mehr als nur etwas herzustellen. Hände sind wie Botschafter; Vermittler zwischen der Welt in uns und um uns herum. Durch unsere Hände können wir das, was in uns ist in die Welt nach draußen tragen, dort etwas nach unseren Vorstellungen formen. Wenn wir ein Material mit den Händen verändern, kann das Material auch uns verändern. Wir fühlen das Material, wir sind stolz auf das was wir geschaffen haben, wir werden routinierter in Handgriffen, wir werden selbstbewußter, wir entwickeln uns. Lassen wir diesen Dialog zu, ist Naturhandwerk eine tolle Möglichkeit ein tieferes Verständnis für Naturmaterial zu bekommen und für uns selbst. Weil wir uns – schlicht und ergeifend – damit befassen. Etwas begreifen hat seine Bedeutung nicht von ungefähr.

Die Natur
… unbestreitbar sind wir ein Teil von ihr, doch haben wir uns in unserer zivilisierten Gesellschaft von ihr mit großen Schritten entfernt. Wie weit, dass wird einem dann meist schmerzlich bewußt wenn eben diese Zivilisation weg bricht, wenn wir ganz auf uns gestellt und angewiesen sind. Es muss keine weltumfassende Katastrophe sein. Es reicht schon mit dem Auto mitten im Nirgendwo liegen zu bleiben, bei einer Bergwanderung vom Wetter überrascht zu werden oder sich beim Spaziergang mit dem Hund im Wald zu verlaufen. Was mach ich dann, wenn ich Durst, aber nicht genug zu trinken dabei habe? Wenn es Nacht und mir kalt wird, aber keine Decke verfügbar ist? Wie finde ich den Weg zurück? Wasser finden, Feuer machen, einen Unterschlupf bauen, sich orientieren; Mutter Natur ist ein unerbittlicher Lehrmeister, bietet dir aber auf all diese Fragen eine Antwort … und noch so viel mehr. Es lohnt sich also, die wilde Seite an sich wieder zu entdecken … Finde zurück zur Natur – Finde zurück zu dir!
